Abstract
Die dood van die groot Middeleeuse denker, Thomas van Aquino, sewe eeue gelede (7 Maart 1274) is van af 17 – 24 April by wyse van ’n internasionale kongres te Rome en Napels in herinnering geroep. Ongeveer 1,500 geleerdes uit nie minder as 60 lande oor die hele wêreld het die verrigtinge bygewoon. Meer as 150 lesings is tydens die kongres gelewer en sal (tesame met die bydraes van nog 400 Kongresgangers wat nie gelees kon word nie) in die kongresacta verskyn wat na berekening 15 volumes sal beslaan.
