Die Ekonomiese Organisasie van die Naturelle in Reserwes (II): Die Toekoms van ’n Eie Ekonomiese Organisasie

Abstract

Uit die voorgaande artikels oor bogenoemde onderwerp het die volgendevir ons duidelik geword:

  1. Die naturelle in die reserwes kan nie in al hul behoeftes voorsienuit die opbringste van hul produkte en vee nie.
  2. Hulle is dus verplig om ander uitweë te soek en as byverdiensteprobeer hulle geld verdien in diens van blankes.
  3. Hierdie byverdienste het om verskillende redes, sonder enigeekonomiese noodsaaklikheid, ’n hoofverdienste geword.
  4. Die gereelde arbeidsemigrasie wat hiermee saamgaan van naturelletussen die ouderdomme van tien en vyftig iagr het die laaste jareabnormale afmetinge geneem, sodat dit verreikende nadelige uitwerkingehet op ekonomiese, sosiale en godsdienstige gebied; die reserwes wordverwaarloos, die afwesigheid van so ’n groot persentasie van die manlikebevolking werk ontwrigtend in op alle sosiale verband en samelewing endit verlam alle rekonstruksiewerk op onderwys-, sending-, ekonomiese enander gebiede.
  5. Tog bestaan in die reserwes nog sosiale afhanklikheid vanmekaar tussen die lede van die verskillende organiese groepe in diestamverband, waarvan die lede nog saam verbind word aan die gemeenskaplikebodem, kultuur, taal en belange.
