Abstract
’n Beroep is die beskrywing „professie” waardig, indien dit aan die volgende voorwaardes voldoen:
- Die praktyk moet op ’n versameling georganiseerde of geordendeabstrakte kennis berus.
- Die kennis moet van sodanige omvang en ingewikkeldheid weesdat dit alleen oor ’n lang tydperk bemeester kan word deurindividue wat geselekteer is op grond van aanleg en roeping.
- Dié wat die kennis vergader moet in staat wees om ’n noodsaaklikeopenbare diens te verrig op ’n beter wyse as dié watnie oor die kennis beskik nie.

- Ownership of copyright in terms of the Work remains with the authors.
