Abstract
Van hierdie skrywer het daar gedurende 1963 drie werke verskyn, nl. Agorob — Kind van die Duine, Jagter van die Duine en Gaub, almal met die Boesman as onderwerp. Die skrywer put uit sy eie lewenservaring en intieme kontak met die wilde „duinkinders”, saam met wie hy as jong seun rond- geswerf het. Al hierdie werke bevat dan ook een na die ander ’n rykdom van kennis oor die Boesman se groot vindingryk- heid en taaiheid in die bestaanstryd, sy wette, sy godsdiens, sy oorgelewerde vertellings en folklore wat elke geslag Boes man moet oordra aan die volgende.
