Abstract
In sy vroeëre werke het Martin Heidegger uitgegaan van die standpunt dat die Syn dit is w at die m ens in sy diepste wese raak. Aangesien die mens blykbaar nie kan formuleer w at hy onder die woord “ Syn” verstaan nie, het Heidegger dit noodsaaklik geag om die betekenis van “ Syn” weer ten voile aan die lig te bring. O m dit te kon doen, moes hy eers die voorw aardes vir so ’n teoretiese eksplikasie uiteensit. H y het gem een om hierdie voorw aardes aan die lig te bring vanuit ’n fundam entele analise van die synswyse van die mens w at Synsverstanend eksisteer. In die analise van die tydelikheid van h ierd ie synswyse het H eidegger egter op die probleem gestuit dat die betekenis van “ Syn” reeds bekend moet wees alvorens die voile betekenis van die tydelikheid van die mens uiteengesit kan word.Copyright information
